Continuing his practice from 2021, in 2022 Adam Daley Wilson is experimenting with text based works in the context of appropriation, post-minimalism, and post-conceptualism. In early 2022 Daley Wilson also showed three pieces in Palm Beach with ENGAGE Projects Gallery (Chicago) and Arts & Conversations (Palm Beach) as part of a group show also titled Arts & Conversations.

The following two very short videos capture images from the studio and from the group show.

Adam Daley Wilson art process arises from “notions” that come from his bipolar 1 hypomanias and then the layers upon layers of connections he builds upon them. His conceptual works are cognitive based after the “notion” stage and they manifest in oil painting, works in new media, rephotographed images, and appropriation, in the context of post-minimalism and post-conceptualism. His works reference and connect art history from ancient works to pop art, and they reference cross-cultural perspectives about a range of subject matter, including eastern and western views of morality, ethics, science, nature, religion, and the relations among and between humans and things. Daley Wilson is self-taught with no art education or training. He has traditional degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Stanford Law.
