Adam Daley Wilson is a conceptual text-based artist represented by ENGAGE Projects Chicago. His text-based works sound in post-conceptual, neoconceptual, and new genres works drawing over two-dozen conceptualists and post-conceptualists in art history, 1900-present, that he studies and tries to learn from, across all cultures.

He had his first group show in 2020 at Aspect / Ratio / Projects; his first solo show in 2021 at Aspect / Ratio / Projects — listed “Must See” in Chicago by Artforum — and has just been selected (two works) for his next group show, the 37th Open Juried Exhibition by the Visual Arts Alliance (VAA) by juror Dr. Harry Cooper, PhD, Senior Curator and Head of Modern Art at the National Gallery of Art, Washington DC. Update: One work selected as Honorable Mention by the jurist. As such, out of 700 works submitted by 200 artists from five countries, and with 100 selected for the show, and 8 artists having two works selected, Daley Wilson was 1 of the 8 and an overall Honorable Mention.

Gallery BP1 is Daley Wilson’s online studio for experimental works / works from his lab, virtual from Portland, Maine.

BP1 refers to his 20-year diagnosis of Bipolar 1, which informs his art. A medicine change in 2014 caused the art to just start pouring out. Daley Wilson is self-taught with traditional degrees from Penn and Stanford law.
